Q:  What is the safest way to clean my ring?

A:  The safest method for cleaning all jewelry is to use a mild detergent soap and water.  An extra soft toothbrush may also help to clean hard to reach areas.  Other household cleaners may damage or scratch the gemstone or may be harsh to your metal plating.

Q:  How can I request more information regarding a specific piece (i.e. carat weight, metal weight, stone clarity, gemstone information, etc.)?

A:  We at For the Love of Jewelry will provide you with much information as we can.  However, if you need more information that is not provided in the website, you may contact us via email or on the phone.  We will do our best to accommodate your request as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

Q:  Do you have a physical store?

A:  Fortheloveofjewelry.com is a web-based retailer only.  Although we won't have any catalogs at this time, we will be adding jewelry to our site periodically, so please check back frequently to see our newest pieces.

Orders

Q:  I want to order a ring online, but I need size 10.  Ring is only size 8, can this be done?

A:  Changing a ring size depends on the structure of the ring itself.  Please contact our customer service specialist for more details.  Resizing a ring to a size you prefer may take up to 4-6 weeks to complete.

Q:  I was unsuccessful placing an order on your site.  Why has my credit card been charged?

A:  If your order(s) were not successful, your card will not be charged.  Any transactions reflected on your account are authorizations only and will automatically disappear within a few days depending on your bank's policy and procedure.

Q:  I think I have placed a duplicate order.  What should I do?

A:  If you think you might have a duplicate order, please contact us as soon as possible. Please call us at (212) 687-6520.  Our customer service specialist will make sure that everything gets sorted out to your satisfaction.

Q:  I have my old address/wrong address in my account.  How can I change it.

A:  You can change your address by logging into your account and click "Addresses".  You may edit or delete your saved address.

Q:  Can I send someone gifts from your site?

A:  Sure you can!  Simply indicate the address during the order process.  Please make sure you let your credit car issuer know that you'll be shipping to a different address other than your billing address.  Please note that due to the value of some of our jewelry items, we may require shipping to the billing address for insurance purposes.

Q:  Do you accept international orders?

A:  Currently For the love of jewelry ship to United States and Canada.

Q:  When will I get my order?

A:  We make sure that we pack and ship your item as soon as possible.  We usually deliver 3-5 business days depending on your shipping option you prefer.  Please note that Inclement weather conditions may delay or postpone our deliveries.  We will not hold liability or refund the shipping charges based on weather delay.

Q:  When do you ship my order?

A:  Orders that we receive by 2:00 PM EST will be processed on the same business day.  Orders received after 2:00 PM EST will be processed the following business day.  Most packages leave our distribution center within 1-2 business days.  Exceptions include out of stock items or items requiring ring sizing.

Q:  Can I choose my mode of shipment?

A:  We offer shipping options on all orders within the United States.  

Q:  I did not receive my order confirmation email.  Can you resend it to me.  

A:  An order confirmation email is system generated and automatically sent out once your order is approved.  If you did not receive your email, please contact our customer service and we will forward a copy to your confirmed email address.  You may also log in to your account to view your purchases.

Q:  I don't like the item I receive, can I return it?

A:  Please check our Returns and Exchange Policy.
